We decided to try this place because it had good reviews and a cute name. We ordered a couple of sandwiches and when they came out, they looked delicious. Well, my husband just happened to turn over one half of my sandwich when he went to try it and the bottom of the bread was literally COVERED in green and white mold! And we didn't discover it until AFTER I had already taken a bite. To say I'm disgusted and appalled is an understatement. If you decide to eat here, check your food before you put it in your mouth. Or better yet, just don't eat here. Service wasn't even friendly.

This is my favourite cafe in Derry. The staff are excellent, they're friendly and interested. They make everyone, whether a regular or tourist, feel like a friend coming for coffee. They are knowledgeable about their menu and the chefs go out of their way to make exciting and tasty food. There is always a new item on the specials board which is not only the yummy but inspirational for my pallette. I cannot recommend the Pickled Duck more!

Very good food and service. Coffee and tea as a part of breakfast meal are nice things. Vegetarian options are really good.

Overpriced. Had to wait half hour for breakfast which was just poached eggs and toast.. coffee was served asap but cold by time I got my order.. staff was nice but would not go.back again
