What a fabulous pub.nWe just nipped in for a drink and a packet of crisps but loved everything about it.nSuper friendly staff who all seemed to know exactly how to chat with the customers whilst working hard tonkeep the place ticking over.nThe atmosphere is great - lovely original feel to it - great inside and even better out in the garden with its riverside setting.nDirectors and Brakspear Gravity were a couple of belting bitters.nAll in all, couldn't fault it.

Very quite place , lot of cubicles or seating areas. Pleasent and tidy.

We fancied tapas and our usual venue was booked solid at lunch time.nnA quick Google search for tapas found the Phoenix, plus it was by the river.nnThey don't take bookings but upon arrival we found several suitable tables outside.nnThe tapas menu was limited but what we ordered was very tasty, they had one of my favourite tapas; shallow fried chorizo in olive oil.nnIf eating outside, you order and pay for food and drink at the outside bar.

Lovely place on the Thames in Sunbury. Staff are very friendly and attentive.nStopped for lunch, and pizza was really good.

Absolutely smashing venue & the staff are wonderful!
