Food was lovely, and service was very good, high price but we'll worth a treat. Shame about the lack of ambience but this is not their fault during Covid. Will definitely visit again in summer for the hidden beer garden. Many thanks.
Had a lovely evening's meal when stopping at the near by Link House B&B. Food was fantastic, we had the venison and shepherd's pie, both well presented and cooked beautifully. They do know how to charge for a tonic water for the G&T though... That aside it's a nice bar/restaurant in a lovely setting/area.

Beautiful old English traditional Inn and hotel. The building and decor are wonderful, the original dark wood paneled bar and open fires just ask you to sit and stay for the afternoon. Very good attentive staff. Delicious wines. Please go its charming and authentic. Pippa
Had a table booked there tonight and we enjoyed our evening there. Food was gorgeous and the steak my partner had was the best! Definitely try the steak if you are going there. Nice and clean, good atmosphere, lovely staff looking after you, Covid measures in place. Lovely time spent there with great food.
