Stayed here for my birthday weekend. Arrived to find a birthday card waiting for me. Room was lovely, clean and spacious. Food was delicious, especially breakfast. And the service and company brilliant.

A place you should not miss on a trip to Woodhall Spa, gardens are fantastic, home of 617 squadron during the war, history on display however, pint of cider, large glass of wine packet of crisps £12. 40!! Ladies toilet two not working and bins full to overflowing. Come on Petwood get the basics sorted and you've got a top notch destination for visitors🤔

Although I didn't stay the night, attended an advanced life saving skills course for two days, used one of the conference rooms and would recommend the facilities for seminar use. Clean, friendly staff and lovely food! Rooms were a bit cold but heating was quick and staff more than accommodating. Lovely venue, will certainly be coming to try the hotel.

I was treated to afternoon tea at The Petwood Hotel yesterday (26.03.2018) for my birthday. What a disappointment. When it was booked we were offered a room in the restaurant or on the terrace. When asked if the terrace was outside we were told it was covered. When we got there "the terrace" was a bar! So that was the first disappointment. Secondly we were left sitting at the table for 35 minutes. When we got up and went to look for someone to ask if this was waitress service we were told it was. However, 10/15 minutes later, making this nearly an hour we had now been seated, the barman came to take our order not a waitress! Another wait of 10/15 minutes before they brought anything out. The afternoon tea, although very well presented, was not very nice taste wise, in fact we thought that one item was a packet mix it tasted so odd. We had to ask for separate cutlery to cut savory and sweet it was not automatically given, and again it took 10 minutes to provide an extra knife for each of us. All in all it is not somewhere we wish or would want to visit again it was nothing like what we had envisaged for a place of that supposed standard.
