Good atmosphere and toilets. Neat dress appreciated. Good staff and service. Has a night club. Dine in as a pub and bistro. Next to a local shopping centre. Smoking area. I liked the vegetarian noodles dish.
Great spot to have a bite to eat and I've always been happy with what I've chosen. The kitchen is integrated into the pub which I really like to see your food being cooked. It's a place I have been to often and will be there again . Fish, chips, puree peas and tartar sauce was perfect. Recommend!
Went out for birthday dinner, roast of the day was top notch food, highly recommended
Went for lunch on Sunday in the Pennyhill and found the place to be very warm and welcoming. There was staff everywhere and all on the same wavelength regarding service and customer satisfaction. We both had the Turkey, but my wife asked for no veg and no roast potatoes but instead chips. I got everything. We got a drink and waited for our meal. The meal arrived about ten minutes later with everything perfect. We got another drink, and again, the staff were so coordinated and worked as a team with one taking the order and another bringing the order. Whoever is the manager or whoever trained the staff should be so proud of them and the job they are doing. Great staff, great food, and so welcoming. We will be back. Thanks.
Service was great, staff were friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was lovely for a Sunday afternoon. Guinness was tops. Food was good but not great, we all got the Roast Beef which was lovely and tender but the rest of the plate lacked something, the gravy was kinda strange, roasties tasted like they were roasted in tomato passata or something, veg, mash and stuff was decent. All in all I would give it another try but will look elsewhere on the menu.
If you go later at night, it can be busy making seating a challenge. If it's busy it can be hard to order at the bar or via bar staff. Toilets are clean, food is good overall. Normally I'm there earlier in afternoon with kids, they are accommodated well with colouring sheets and crayons.
It's a nice bar. I went to a birthday party there. The food was good, and the music. My one criticism is that it was extremely packed and very hard to get anywhere near the bar.
Met up with my friend today for lunch food delicious as usual staff very friendly and this pub has the cleanest toilets in Dublin and possibly in Ireland. Now i know people post the food but when toilets are this clean it says a lot about the place.
We had to wait 10 minutes until the waitress came to get our order..When I got my “large portion” of chicken wings I asked the waiter what size he brought me and he said large one :16 pieces of wings… Was only 11 in the plate but I was ok to pay,I didn’t complain When we asked for the bill our bill came after 15 minutes … Very poor on service… Feeling disappointed
Great good especially the chicken wings. Bit off an issue in the toilets involving some people off a lower standing which seems to be a regular thing every Friday and Saturday. Then again every pub suffers the same issue
