Information and updates from the staff at Peel Veterinary Clinic

Story

The Peel Veterinary Clinic was established in 1948 and remains a thoroughly mixed practice. We have two clinics, in Beverley and Hornsea, offering a range of services to our clients.

Our aim is to provide excellent veterinary care and customer service, with good value for money. We provide assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by our own dedicated and friendly team of vets, nurses and receptionists.

Within the practice, we offer medical, surgical and ambulatory services. We have the ability to perform many diagnostic procedures in house, offering same day results wherever possible. We also offer complementary therapies, such as acupuncture and homeopathy, courtesy of one of our talented vets.

My poor baby cockapoo has an ear infection both ears nice to have a paid consultation with a vet that lasted 40mins rather than 2 mins, with some great advice prevention technques and anti-biotics which I dont have to apply daily myself from a team of professionals getting involved. Thank you!!
My Guinea pig had stopped eating. I rang the vets and registered with them. I was told to bring him in straight away. He then had a dental op 2 days later. Very good service and after care. Guinea pig is now back to normal.
We had to put our dear dog Chunky to sleep this week after a traumatic but brief period of her suddenly becoming seriously unwell. This is my first experience of having my dog put to sleep as my other dog died naturally at home. What can I say but a massive ‘Thank you’ to all of the team who were so kind and compassionate from start to finish…not only the vet but also her assistant I’m sorry, I don’t know her official title but she had dark hair who gave Chunky primula cheese as a treat and Chunky lapped it up…wished I’d known she loved this so much earlier! This vets is fantastic, the price is broken down for you and explained before they go ahead but most importantly they really care.
My poodle needed an operation and the vet and staff were very kind and helpful so now George is recovering well . Thank you to all at The Peel Veterinary Clinic in Hornsea.
Building Works where been done inside the Hornsea vets so all appointments were been temporarily entrance around the back in an outbuildingnThe surgery was in the same room where as their animal holding cages and even though the vets tried to put a temporary screen up in that same room , it was still distressing for me to try and comfort my cat whilst putting him to sleep with a loud barking dog just few meters away. I knew my cat would have hated that and unfortunately that was my last memory I had with my cat so not a nice ending .nI understand possible nothing could be done but in hindsight I should have asked if the vet could have found somewhere quiet in the surgery where they could have put my cat down .nIf I thought his ending would have been like this I would not have put him down there and travelled to another vet in hull .
