Discovered our son's new local! Moved into new student flat on a wet day. Just up the road we found a warm welcome, delicious food good value, and an excellent pint. Food & drinks: Good value, generous portions, freshly made. The burrito defeated our teen, so doggy bag for supper!
An absolute gem of a pub, and a credit to uk perfect pubbery. I loved everything - gorgeous garden, welcoming staff, Victorian Pre-Raphaelite-y dim but so cosy interior, modestly priced yummy snacky menu. It was quiet on a Sunday afternoon and I fear for it's free house survival. Hopes it is busier on a weekday, perhaps with staff from nearby massive hospital. Use it, don't risk losing it?

Friendly local pub between Fulham and Hammersmith. I found the staff to be friendly but I wish they had extra help when it gets busy. Other than that, a place to visit if you are in the area. They do quizzes and there js plenty of room to find a spot.Rooms: 4/5

The pub is very nice and cozy, and could be a lovely spot but I've tried at least 3 different beers and they all tested terrible and had the same defect: vinegary. This usually indicates beers are either spoilt because they are kept too warm or the lines have not been cleaned for a long time. As beers are quite expensive at this pub, I would expect mediocre hygiene standard, but honestly this was well below acceptable.
