We held our wedding in the peacock room in November 2018. The venue was beautiful and all the staff involved went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. The food served during the wedding breakfast and evening buffet was delicious. The rooms and gardens available to us were fantastic and helped to create some beautiful wedding pictures. The venue is truly unique and special. Mandy the wedding co-ordinator and Ryan the Manager were extremely helpful on the day and in the run up to the wedding. Our wedding was day was perfect because of the venue and staff.
My daughter had her wedding at the Peacock Room in May. What a fabulous day it was. The staff at the Peacock Room went above and beyond to make Emma and John's day extra special. Three room changes - One for the Wedding ceremony, one for the Wedding breakfast and one for the evening reception. WOW the changes were amazing. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left it was just fantastic. Many many thanks for everything that David and his team did for us. I would highly recommend the Peacock Room for any function, especially weddings.
A beautiful venue for our daughters wedding in June, unfortunately there was some problems they forgot to fence of the secret garden in which we had paid for, for the day so consequently some people were eating lunch in there, the wrong music was played for my daughters entrance, wrong canapés and we had to ask for the coffee at the end of the meal, and was told we would be charged good job we have a copy of the wedding contract as we had paid for all of these. Got the coffee but not the handmade chocolates! All I can say is its a good job my daughter is easy going as this could of ruined her day, we sent a letter to the crumble as well as speaking to them on the day it self it would of been nice if they had acknowledge our letter, but upto now we have had no response .
Many lovely 1st class meals here in the past, ownership uncertainties and staff leaving as a result bring questions about the continued quality of service and produce. Family members have been disappointed recently and indicated customer service was poor!
My daughter had her wedding there on sat 26th july and i can honestly say what a wonderful day it was.David is such an articulate person and made sure every aspect of the day was spot on. He and all the staff did a brilliant job and made the day such a memorable day. Their work ethic is second to none. I would like to thank them all for making the day one i will never forget.
My son held is wedding at the crimble on the 7 October in the peacock room ,what a fantastic day . The food was amazing ,the staff where fantastic ,nothing was to much trouble for them 10/10 well done thanks again well done you made Simon and Samanthas day one we will never forget
Fantastic atmosphere in the dining room we ate in, it felt like we were on the upper decks of The Titanic! Food was great, as was the service. Highly recommended.
Great night staff was very atentive food was lovely no complaints by me or my friends, will certainly be going again ,since it has been taken over it is by far better than before ,hope the standard keeps up
Just been and had food here, service was excellent and was a fantastic dining experience, the food was very nice and tasty, definitely will be back.
Cold!! Service very very slow. Took over 3.5 hours for lunch. Food not very warm but the place had draughts very cold draughts. Fan heaters didn't help. Not enough staff. Very poor.
