Never had a bad visit here since the new management and team took over. The food is to die for pizzas especially they are massive, hot and cooked to perfection!! The team are amazing so smiley, helpful and just make the visit an absolute joy! Massive thank you to Gem and Shelly who were amazing with us this weekend and of course Sasha and Dan who were also just wonderful! If you haven't been yet you are missing out! Get down here and see team peacock and sample some amazing foods.
The pub itself was nicely furnished. The staff were very welcoming and offered great service. The food was tasty and good value. My friend and I had the Curry Night deal. The toilet facilities could have been cleaner and tidier.
I was greeted by Sasha who was very helpful and informal about the ways I could order food and drink. I was served at bar by Debby who was very polite and friendly and was happy to help with my order. My food was cooked by the chef adi who cooked it perfectly and it also looked visually appealing when it was brought over to me very happy with my visit today.
Absolutely love this place. We usually come in the summer and sit in the beer garden as it’s a half an hour drive for us but we have been about 4 times in the past 2 weeks trying the new menu. I’m gutted they got rid of the Brie dippers and single serving nachos but the ribs & wings are lovely. Pizzas are absolutely gorgeous! Staff are always very pleasant and helpful. You have an amazing team x
We visited for Mother’s Day Brunch as a party of seven. As I was working later on in the day, the timings of this service worked perfectly so I could spend time with my own children and my Mum too. Sasha looked after us perfectly, our food was delicious and we had a really lovely visit!
Lovely food, we all enjoyed it, including two children 10 & 4, nice outside area and somewhere for children to play, the only thing that let it down was having to remind the waitress we needed cutlery as was not separately available so sitting with meal served till she brought it out to us; she was apologetic but probably should have brought to table before the meals
Last time we visited the food was bad, the service was slow, and our order was wrong. We thought we'd try again as people have said it had improved, and this time it couldn't be more different. Service was quick and efficient via the website, staff were friendly, and the quality of the food was excellent. If you've been put off by past bad experiences perhaps it is worth giving them another try...
Chelle has always been super with us when we come in for lunch from the office. She even went out of her way to get us a bottle of hot sauce from the supermarket so we could spice up our already very tasty food. Lovely related atmosphere in here, entirely down to the lovely staff. Thanks all!
Have been in the pub multiple times now and haven't got a bad word to say! A family-oriented pub with plenty to offer for all ages! Quiz nights, open mic nights and everything else in between, the pub offers a fantastic range of drinks and food which I am always happy to sample, occasionally one drink in each hand! The staff are always polite and helpful, with lots of room both inside and outside the pub with one of the best beer gardens in the North West! Perfect location for the upcoming summer!
Nice staff, poor food. Mexican nachos without all the stated toppings, burnt cauliflower wings and "dirty fries" ordered without bacon on top. Good atmosphere for an after work drink but not fussed on the food. Staff are welcoming and friendly.
