Welcome to Shrewsbury in Shropshire and a great independent cafe bar and restaurant for you to enjoy. The Peach Tree is situated directly opposite the historic Shrewsbury Abbey - a real Shropshire gem.

You'll find the Peach Tree a relaxing contemporary experience and yet steeped in history with parts of the building dating back to the 15th century.

So whether you're popping in for a coffee, a hearty breakfast, perhaps a meal at lunch time, or of course sampling the delights of our evening a la carte menu a warm welcome awaits you - together with some interesting historic features and some cosmopolitan modern twists.

Lovely 15th century building with loads of character. Very warm welcome and very attentive friendly staff. Food was excellent so much so went back the next day for Sunday lunch. Elli, our waitress was excellent.

Great service, amazing staff, specifically Rob Scott amazing bartender and mate. He can keep you entertained whilst making you a sick drink props to this gentleman
Nice place for lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dishes were very tasty and delicious. I have only been here ones and only tried these two dishes. But I feel I can recommend it. They have several fine choices for vegetarian and vegan.
Didn't enjoy our choice of food. My husband opted for steak pie. The meat was rock hard and his meal had to be replaced with something else. I chose scampi which was overcooked with tiny pieces of scamp inside the coating
Felt very safe here. Tables well spaced out. All staff wearing visors. Excellent, its what should happen everywhere but doesn't!.
