My daughter has been attending PQA Welwyn for a number of years now and loves every minute! She has plenty of opportunities to perform in a variety of shows. She has met some lovely friends and her confidence has grown immensely since joining PQA. The principle and the team are amazing, cannot recommend it enough!
My son has been attending PQA Welwyn for a few years now. He absolutely loves the academy and it’s lovely watching his confidence grow. I’d highly recommend the academy. Louise and her staff are friendly, supportive and very encouraging
My daughter has been coming to this academy since 2017 she absolutely loves it and has learnt so much. She loves the wide variety of activities they do and the many opportunities to perform at local and west end theatres! Louise and Adam the principals are extremely supportive and the rest of the crew are fabulous!
Brilliant! Great for all ages. My daughter has been attending for 3 years and absolutely loves it! The teachers are friendly and engaging, the projects they do are fun and rewarding and are a good mix of musical theatre and film and tv. Would 100% recommend PQA Welwyn Garden City!
My daughter has been attending for nearly 2 years and really enjoys the classes. She loves learning about the behinds the scenes roles as much as the drama/singing elements. The classes are fun and very inclusive.
My dad daughter is approaching her first year at PQA Welwyn. It’s her first professional group and the difference it has made to Emeli’s confidence is staggering. So much so, she recently performed a solo song at the Hertfordshire festival of music in front of 400 adults with nothing but excitement. The group really nurtures the childrens individual abilities without being pushy or demanding and there’s such a wide range of events to allow them to perform to audiences. Whether you want to pursue for the long or short term these skills convert to long term life skills so amazingly valuable. I’m a huge advocate, I think that’s obvious
Well what can I say, since my girl started she enjoy every minute of it, every single person work in the academy is nice and friendly, my Sofia is happy every minute she is there, I do recommend this academy for every single children Thank you to make my e little one happy every time Ana
It is good to see a Professional Performing Arts school in Welwyn Garden City and no other than the household name of Pauline Quirke Academy. This school is an essential component of the theatre, film and television industry; we all like good entertainment and acting well done, starts at schools like this. Wow - the academy has provided for hit films such as Wonder Woman; Jurassic World 2 and Star Wars my personal favourites. I quite like what the PQA say about acting developement; 'For those students who wish to pursue a career in the performing arts, they need an Agency that shares their passion, teaches them the skills they need to succeed and supports them all the way'. That support is priceless to me as in any industry that grassroots foundation can be the making of a legend. I had seen the school advertised recently and enquired at their stall today and was glad to see Pauline Quirke from birds of a feather is very much a part of the success of this school. I wish them all well and based on what I have seen, read and questions asked today; My personal score for the PQA is 10/10. The photos used in this review were permitted by PQA WGC.
Great academy, friendly people. My children really enjoy the classes. Great for their confidence.
My daughter loves it there and her confidence is building up as other skills which is great to see.
