Nautical themed decor in the back room nerds updating but the snug out front is lovely and staff welcoming. Good pub food, excellent portions. The whitebait starter was awesome and such good value. Highly recommended.

This was a nice easy going place. Good food, good beer & nice staff. We had no problems at all with the place, I'd say worth a visit for a nice break

A really great place to eat good food try the gammon steak fantastic Great children's Nelson offer.

lovely food, fantastics service.. but extremely let down by the half arsed nautical theme decor, dead plants, and peeling anaglypta ceiling. website imagery is by no means any reflection of what this pub looks like.

Stayed here for the night such a lovely place and the food is fantastic.

The layout was really good for social distance , the service was good and the 2 hour slot is adequate for our needs. Well done.

Great food just watch out for the locals mixing to much as we still have covid 19 in the uk
