AMAZING! I recently was surprised by my family with an afternoon for my birthday at The Parlour Tearoom and I could not fault anything. The place itself is so beautiful with quirky little quotes, beautiful decor and is spotlessly clean. The service was amazing, all the staff went above and beyond and could not do enough for us. There was 10 of us and nothing was too much trouble, they also ensured we always had what we needed or any extras. The food was exceptional. All the sandwiches were so fresh and tasty! The scones were to die for- still warm with large amounts of cream and jam provided which was so yummy! Then the cakes… well the cakes were just beautiful! Different options to suit everyone and any that wasn’t eaten was boxed up for us to take away. From start to finish the team, environment and food was faultless. Myself and my friends/family will most definitely be returning. Lucy and her team should be very proud of what they have and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thank you
We enjoyed the last meal in england before flying home. The cake and sandwiches we ordered were excellent in taste and outlook. The staff are nice. Would visit again.
Such a wonderful spot for a lunch, brunch or afternoon tea! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Beautifully decorated, food is delicious and handmade with a great selection, and the outdoor seating area is lovely to sit out in the sunshine with a cup of tea.Food: 5/5
I took two of my friends here for afternoon tea. It's a pretty tea room, and the sandwiches, scones and cake were excellent. We tried the coconut and lime scones and they had a light and fresh taste. We enjoyed the lemon, raspberry and blueberry sponge and the carrot cake was lovely also. My friends were very impressed, and are already planning to come again.
I haven't been here for a while but spontaneously decided to visit again today with my mum and little one. We decided to go for the viables tea any choice of sandwich, salad garnish, crisps and choice of scone or cake I opted for the cake.... Now let me tell you, I went for the apple, blackberry and cinnamon cake, and I have never, in my life had a cake that was so light, fluffy and just beyond amazing. My mum made wedding cakes back in the day and also my good friend is a local cake maker. Both absolutely amazing skills, but Lucy what ever you do, this is your vocation! Absolute credit to you because I was seriously contemplating on buying the whole thing! Only thing stopping me was my waste line and ever tightening jeans . The food overall was brilliant, just the right amount. I'll certainly be returning! Please please, for the love of god, never discontinue the apple, blackberry and cinnamon cake!!
Lovely tea room, with outside space. Booking your table is preferred as they tend to be busy. Lots of choices from drinks, cakes, sandwiches, afternoon tea. Scone with cream, jam and a tea, £8.50. I found the scone on the small side. Took the lime and coconut flavoured one but next time will stick to the original one. Friendly staff. Will return.
The Farmer's Tea was absolutely delicious. Great choice of sandwiches, even a choice of scone and as for the cake - mouthwatering . This was our second visit because we enjoyed the first one so muchRecommended dishesCake, SandwichesParking spacePlenty of parkingParking optionsFree parking lot
One of the best afternoon tea's we've ever had! They had an amazing choice of homemade cakes, which tasted lovely, and the panini and sandwiches were great. Everything was so filling and the waitress was so polite and came over to check everything was okay! We will definitely come back!
Had a lovely tea with a delicious scone and a slice coffee and walnut cake. Quite and peaceful. Glad we chose to go there. Vegetarian options: There are options available on the menu Dietary restrictions: Milk alternatives available Parking: I think it would depend on how busy the craft center as a whole is when you visit. I’m sure parking will be a struggle on busier days. We found parking without too much effort. Disability bays are available too. Kid-friendliness: Children’s options available on the menu
Sadly I have rated this tea room one star. The manager wouldn't honour the voucher given to my friends mother who's 85 and visually impaired. Her sight has declined rapidly in the last few months. She was given the voucher as a Christmas gift. Her voucher was valid until 22nd June this week and today is the 25th. The lady with severe visual impairment wrote on her calendar 6 months ago under the wrong month. On ringing up today to explain the expiry date being only three days late and explaining the reason to the manager this tea room made no exception and would not let two ladies of 85 use their voucher three days late. Nothing more to say.
