Where do I even start? i booked the Parlour 4 years ago for my wedding on 26th October and fell in love with the venue straight away. It was a wet and rainy day but the atmosphere of the venue was perfect. Over the years the Parlour has undergone loads of changes all of which I've loved. I've had loads of queries and chopped and changed my mind with things but everyone has been so helpful, supportive and nothing short of brilliant. We had the most perfect day with family and friends saying just how fantastic everything. The food was perfect and have had so many compliments. Special thank you to Naomi for answering the many many questions I've had over the years, Roxanne for getting the venue sorted in the morning and supporting us girls and to Maxine who was just phenomenal on the day at keeping me right and checking that the mascara was staying in place!!  The biggest of thank yous ever, I really couldn't have wished for a better venue to host our wedding day. Anyone that is considering the Parlour, 100% book it.  I want to do the whole day again and it wouldn't have been perfect if it wasnt for you all!

We had our wedding here on 18.05.24. All the staff were superb, from helping us plan the day, answering all our questions, all the way to the organisation on the day! Massive shout out to Naomi, Rosanne & Max. Lush people, lush food, lush venue!

A beautiful setting for a wedding, bit noisy with traffic maybe could move the pagola! would be a great idea as could'nt hear the ceremony!

Attended a Wedding here on 23.12.23. Staff were friendly. Venue was lovely.  Drinks were £6.50 for pint of cider.

We went here for my partners great grandma's birthday,  the venue is a beautiful little place with various private cabins. The buffet was extremly good with a selection of quality sandwiches, pies, and pastries both savoury and sweet. The prices at the bar were quite high but then I'd expect that at venue like this,  staff were friendly and standards of service were high,  well looked after I thought

Go every time I’m up home visiting parents. Good coffee and breakfast. Usually get the poached eggs and salmon on brown bread. For the two of us it comes in around £16. Always busy for lunch, recommend booking. Also, they’re catering more towards weddings nowadays so call before hand to see if they’re open to general public. Accessibility is good with paving slabs leading up to the main building, not sure about the toilet.

Viewed this place for a potential venue for our wedding.  Beautiful place... Instantly loved it. Booked up for 2025!  Highly recommend you take a look in person.

Attended a friend's evening wedding party. What a well hidden gem. I never knew that it existed. A lovely place in lively grounds. Spotless. The staff were lovely too.

Festive wreath making and afternoon tea. A lovely way to spend a snowy Sunday afternoon. Lovely food and very well organised. A lovely start to our Christmas.

Good location for a small wedding, but there are many things that need to be upgraded. The chairs are really unsteady and wobble when you are eating your dinner or having drinks later in the evening, the choice of drinks are very limited, the decor could do with a coat of paint and the gents tiolets are disgusting, the smell was horrendous. The outside seating is covered in stains. On the plus side, the meal was wonderful, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful.
