We enjoyed a lovely brunch here. Service was friendly and efficient from start to finish. Breakfast was super tasty - hot, fresh and arrived in good time. We returned later for takeaway cakes which were also excellent. Clean, fresh and tastefully decorated interior with a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Came into the Tea room on 31st May, staff were very friendly and helpful, ordered the club sandwiches that's where the rating falls down for me, the chicken was dry, bacon part way between crispy and pink and there was too much mustard it overpowered everything else in the sandwich. Overall a good place to go just needs a few tweaks to make it great.
Had some American pancakes here. The food was quite good, but nothing spectacular a bit overpriced for what it is with tasteless bacon and golden syrup instead of actual maple syrup. The service is nice but a bit dry, would be nice to experience a bit more energy and warmth. Really beautiful location. Very nice on a sunny day.Food: 4/5
Really lovely tearoom, can only compliment the selection of cakes as we didn't try any not on the Slimming World plan . Jacket potato was great, coffee was good too. Only 3 stars for atmosphere cos it got very noisy, there's no sound absorbing materials in the space. Toilets were immaculate Wheelchair accessibility: It's all flat
£20 for a breakfast an a coffee. Shameful. Burnt black pudding, a spoon full of beans. You will get better value for you money in a greasy spoon and you’d get better quality ingredients. Avoid this placeFood: 2/5
First time I have ever come down here. I'm really impressed with the service and the layout. the food is to a high standard good value for money. Lovely views out the window. I will be coming back here again Wheelchair accessibility: All on one floor ferry spacious for any wheelchairs to get around
Vastly overpriced for what you get, not just with quantity but quality too. I'd expect table ordering at this price point but even with till ordering the staff are generally not very interested in you and make you feel as though you're interupting their day. I've been to far better places locally that provide good service, quality food and much, much better value. The location is nice, although this doesn't mitigate against the bad points.
It’s a very cozy place to have your breakfast at. It’s always crowded so it’s not really optional to take your laptop and do work however. The food here is really good and affordable. The options provided are plenty when it comes to different types of breakfast , wine , tea and lunch. It’s also got a good view of the park to enjoy when it’s sunny outside.
A nice place for a spot of brunch close to the seafront. Easy paid parking options outside cash or app payment and only a few minutes walk away from central Southsea and the Clarence Pier seafront. With lots of options on the menu and a broad offer of cakes/sweet treats, you will likely not leave hungry. Parking: Plenty of parking very close by.
Went for breakfast a few days back it felt a bit over priced for what you got. Didn't help it was all served on a very large plate so looked like even less. The actual place was really nice and clean and the staff were lovely just a bit let down by the food. I didn't have any but I have heard great things about the cakes there so I may have missed out.
