Great place for a walk! Clean & tidy, recommending!
Nice public park in Armagh city with many historic buildings. There's large open spaces, paths around the perimeter, beautiful buildings, lovely gardens, toilets, a cafe, a children's play area and an outdoor gym. Plenty of parking in the Demesne or in the nearby shopping carparks. It's easy to spend an hour here.
Beautiful park area with parking available. Dogs allowed. Nice length of walk. Lovely views, fascinating area. Lovely old buildings, interesting facts displayed around the place. The lavender was full of butterflies and bees.
Pleasant grounds with a shortish boundary walk which is generally suitable for most mobilities. The buildings are nice and there is also the ruins of a Fransican monastery in the grounds. There is free car parking. There is also a childrens' playpark. There was little litter and no visible dog mess when we visited in wintertime. There were also plenty of small birds flying around. Overall it is somewhere pleasant to visit for a short time if in the Armagh area.
Excellent location for all ages. Plenty to see and do. Excellent play park and plenty of marked trails.
Peaceful escape from busy Armagh. Tidy forest and grass trails. Historical ruins.
Well worth a visit. Its a old Estate that is now the local Council offices, but it still has a lot of its original park lands. There's no access to the main house but there's clean toilets and a cafe in the Stable Block. There's a couple of mid size free carparks which at the weekends have plenty of free spaces. The grounds are well maintained and next to the main house is a Church, Green House, Old Ice House. A small stream runs along one side. At the entrance is a few more parking spaces and a old Abbey which still has a few old head stones at the side of it.
Love to walk here , there is a loop walk around 2.5 kilometers , kids park and well kept grounds. Its also close to Armagh city centre for a cheeky ice cream or coffee
Great spot for everyone whether you are walking running cycling taking the dog for a walk or the kids for a picnic in the fully equipped play park
