We had a lovely meal here. Highly recommend the roast. The staff were very lovely too. Good atmosphere and a great place to visit when it was gloomy outside.
It was our first day out with our puppy. The staff was absolutely amazing. Allowing dogs inside with no hassle. Very welcoming. Waiting staff were all amazing. Food top quality . If u want a place that is dog friendly and have a good experience this place is it.
Atmosphere good, our table was in one of the many corners and being a round table, it was very easy to chat. Waiting time was average but the restaurant was very busy when we first arrived. Our main waitress was Emma who we know quite well and although she was obviously busy she did her best to ensure that our overall experience was good. Our mains were all piping hot and tasty and the two of us who had puddings enjoyed them as well.
Nice pub. Good selection of Ales didn't have a meal but I did try there blackberry Eton mess . Very nice indeed.
Excellent food and good service from our friendly waitress Liz. Food delivered promptly. Decent beers with a lovely outside seated area. Inside is clean, tidy and has a lovely decor with plenty of room for seating around many tables. A comfortable and affordable dining experience. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely worth another visit.
Lovely food, excellent staff working there too. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very polite and professional. Even though the place was quite busy, we didn't have to wait long to get seated or have our orders taken. Also knowledgeable about the menu and the bar. Will definitely be back.
The staff were extremely helpful, happy and attentive. Food came up in good time. We were informed as soon as we arrived that they were running low on Beef Roast so very organised. Food was absolutely amazing and extremely tasty. We had 8 in our party and all meals were perfect. The only thing I would want is more pork crackling! Will definitely come back
A bit limited with veggie food if you didnt want a curry at lunchtime. Nice atmosphere. Open fire, perfect for a blustery day. Bar staff were very busy at lunchtime opening, took ages to get the coffees we ordered. Food came pretty fast and was decent fayre for a good price.
Stopped here on holiday when passing through. The food was excellent also good value for money and beer fresh. The staff were also very friendly and got some drawing paper for our toddler. Overall, I can't fault our experience here also a very nice looking pub!
Delightful pub/restaurant. The food was really, really good. I had the roast turkey, as did Mum. We also had a huge portion of cauliflower cheese. Dad had fish and chips. My wife had the sea bream. The food was really good. I can see us coming back, even if it is a little out of the way...
