Decent menu with good specials menu and offers. Pensioners 2 mains for £12 and 2 starters £6. Country location with woodland setting good sized car park and easy access direct off the A19. Helpful pleasant attentive staff made us very welcome. Function room to cater for up to 100 separate from rest of pub. This is a Greene King pub offering varied beers in line with the group. One of the better places in and around Doncaster

Spur of the moment visit while passing at 4.30 pm on a Sunday. Very quiet although apparently packed out earlier. We had the carvery lunch which was a good size meal for a fair price. Food was really nice and despite being under heat lamps, was not at all dried out like at some carveries but, it could have done with being a little warmer. That said it was a nice meal in comfortable surroundings. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. Would have given 5 stars if food was hot.

Real nice food. Good staff. Carvery is great. And the steak and ale pie... Wow... So good!

Hidden gem. Lovely pub food with generous portions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Swapped some accompaniments on my dish with no problems even suggesting alternatives. Can't fault them.

Food delicious staff very polite. It was mothers day very busy but still kept there standards. 😋 8 out of 10
