Stayed here for 4 nights recently. Lovely hotel, rooms spacious and clean. Yes, it's a little tired but it still maintains its' character of a 'seaside hotel'. We were made to feel very welcome by the great team of staff here. And thanks to Nick for 3 very late night / early morning sessions in the bar!!
5 star all the way! The most friendliest family run hotel iv ever been to,great atmosphere felt very welcomed and helped in everyway they could, they couldn't do enough for you.The entertainment by nick was brilliant and such a fun loving character who was always up for a giggle. The rooms were immaculately clean and spacious with a lovely variety of breakfast in the mornings. Will definitely be coming back here just for the giggles with our pal nick.xxx
We stayed here during a five day coach holiday Eastons Coaches. We really enjoyed our time here, this is a family run hotel and staff are friendly and helpful. The meals were good and the service excellence. Our room was a good size, albeit the hotel is a little dated. Overall, we recommend the Osborne Hotel.
Lovely staff but considering the cost we paid, thought the rooms could be better and the breakfast was quite basic. Hotel is outdated which some people may like but not for me. Amazing location though, right opposite the sea and in quiet part of town
Helped us a family of 2 adults and 2 children in a late evening crisis after being let down by another establishment. Couldn't do enough for us, so friendly and made our stay brilliant. Can't thank Nick and the team enough and wouldn't hesitate to book here in the future.Rooms: 5/5
Arriving late in the afternoon we were welcomed with a refreshing 'cuppa'. Our room was quite large and the bathroom was large enough to be a bedroom as well but then it did house the wardrobe. The TV was quite old which we felt did not do the place justice and on the small size for a large size room. Owners and staff were A1 including 'Dolly the dog' and entertainment was available each night' I was thankful that an electric wheelchair was available to use for a charity donation which enabled me to get round the town easily. Would return without a second thought. Terry Martin
Awful . Awful . Awful .1 We stayed for a Wedding , asked for an early check in as we needed to get ready it was agreed over the phone and a email was sent confirming . Yet when we arrived , the people at reception weren't aware . 2 When we asked where our room was , the ladies a reception didn't know . Their instructions we very basic so we spent around 10mins wandering around the hotel trying to find the room . We also had to carry our bags up 3 flights of steep stairs as you are not allowed to go in the lift with luggage. In the end , a cleaner told us where the room was . 3 The walls were paper thin . During the night , me and my daughter heard snoring loud , we thought it was my husband so let him carry on as he was driving the next day . At 2am , we had hardly slept so asked my husband to stop snoring . He woke up , and only then did we realise that it was someone sleeping in the room next door .
A typical by the sea B&B on bigger scale. Reckon we were the only guests under 60 years of age. Beds very comfortable, having spent best part of 36 hours in mine. Food poisoning, NOT from the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location for the Tunnels Beachs for weddings. If Ilfracombe is for your destination this is a solid choice.
Stayed here for the weekend for my birthday treat by my fiance. Nice room but they gave is twin beds room which we ouxhdd beds together. I was in wheelchair because I was on recovery of broken leg. The lift is too small and clamped. Our room was wheelchair access but there was a shower with no seat, it was difficult! And the bathroom was slippery. The toilet kept leaking the water where I nearly slipped and fell over with my crutches. Check out was 10am which we felt was too early
A family run hotel. They were very friendly could not do enough for you. Food excellent and the waiting staff marvellous. When we left today the owners and the staff came to wave us all off
