Excellent... really good chips.. crisp & tasty.. still fluffy inside. Lots of flavour.. Fish moist & meaty.. batter lovely... our dog goes totally bonkers for one of their sausages. + really friendly staff.. Plain shop, but always good value..
First time at this chippie but will definitely use again. Food was freshly cooked and very tasty.
Really nice owners, really nice food. We slipped in just as they where closing one night from an event we were part of and they were totally happy to continue to serve us and cook everything fresh. For my friends first experience of fish and chips He's from another country, he thought it was amazing, myself being from a Sea side area I thought they were also really good and tasty. Thanks!!
The food is delicious! The chips are soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, just the way they should be! The fish was fresh and tender. Customer service is friendly, welcoming and attentive - we'll be coming back, thank you!
The best fish and chips I've had in years!!! The food was reasonably priced and not greasy. Especially the chips which were freshly cut and fried, with the prefect crisp on the outside and fluffiness inside. Definitely worth a try!!

Great fish & chips along with pies, fishcakes & sausages plus some novel ideas of salt n pepper chips/chicken wings & curried chips. The food is cooked to order, beautifully hot & tasty. The OAP's portion is big enough for the most hearty pensioner's appetite! The shop itself is scrupulously clean with all the Covid adaptations such as screens, hand sanitiser & sineage. Bring cash, as they don't take cards, tho there is a cash machine, a very short distance away. Tremendous value, lovely, friendly staff. If you're staying in the area, include this chippy in your itinery.
Food was awful burger so small the fish look like it been flattened and battered and the vegetable spring roll was freezing cold wouldn’t recommend
Not bad. Better than the previous owners. Fish was cooked just right and not greasy. Chip portion was massive. Good meal for me.
When they a few days ago chips was nice but far to much batter on the fish not sure if I would go there again as there is none that can beat Bradshaws which as sadly been demolish a few years ago now
