Just popped by on our way home. The service could do with a bit of work. We stood by the for for at least 10 minutes waiting to be seated. The guy on the bar not very friendly wasn't busy so we asked him if we could be seated and was told no wait for the manager. We ordered ourselves a drink while we waited which we asked for ourselves. The restaurant wasn't busy so not really sure why we waited and 2 people looked at us at one point and one continued to walk past us and the other was chatting with the guy behind the bar. It is very clean and tidy. The main meals were really good. The desert was ok but nothing special. Though there would of been more bananas in it. There is up to 3 hours free parking if you are there just add the registration on the screen as you enter.
After service with a smile? Best go somewhere else! Barman stood next to me whilst he poured another customer a drink, looked straight through me but never even acknowledged my presence. Had the vegan platter, genuinely awful The "chicken" was massively overcooked and nearly impossible to cut let alone eat, the grilled peppers amounted to one slice of pepper, the tomato was hot and soft but not grilled, mushroom and chips were nice and all for £16 I was planning to have a dessert but never bothered after such a poor main course. What a difference a day makes; Went down for breakfast and everything was cooked to perfection and the service was great! Then I went for dinner again, thought I would give the 3 course "meal deal" a try. Cauliflower bites starter served piping hot, nice! Then I tried the vegan burger no 'cheese' can't stand it but added vegan 'bacon' again nice burger served by an attentive member of staff, hot tasty food and good service wow! For pudding..... Well you can have a vegan starter and main course but no vegan pudding available on the "meal deal" there was a vegan pudding on the main menu but not available to me on the m"meal deal". Despite the lack of pudding what a transformation, I would strongly recommend staying away from this Beefeater on Monday evenings but give it a go on Tuesdays as its a different place. I will be eating elsewhere for the rest of the week as I have had the one vegan starter, and both vegan mains so I'll pop in to Evesham to see if other restaurants have better vegan options. Dietary restrictions: Only 2 vegan options on this menu
We go here for breakfast buffet occasionally and we think it is really good quality and to be able to eat as much food as you want for a limited price is brilliant. The first time we went, I overdid it a bit but that was because I really enjoyed it. The pancakes and cooked breakfast is delicious made with good tasty ingredients. We have recommended it to many people and will continue to go there for breakfast. We haven't ever been for a evening meal there but might one day.
Went for Christmas dinner apart from waiting to be seated which took like 10 minutes for some to come. We had a 2 course Christmas meal. It was good, the potion was good. Had soup but it comes in a roll so don't expect a bowl of soup. Christmas trimming and turkey was ok and good potion which filled us up. The waitress was great she was running around like a headless chicken but she was brilliant.
Had not eaten here for a little while and was a little disappointed in the food quality & quantity in December 2022. First set of skinny fries were cold & second portion were over-cooked & hard. Chicken portion wasn't very big, for the money. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere was pleasant. Prices were OK in general.Food: 3/5
Had to wait 10 minutes before being shown to a table & it was only half full ! Food was good & the table service was good too . But 2 stars lost due to unnecessary wait . * Update * Been back since , The mixed Vegetarian Grill was good but the Vegan burger's bun we ordered was toasted/dried to a crisp rock ! it was sent back & replaced before any teeth were broken attempting to eat it Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces but I don't get why you have to input your number plate on a screen inside, it's not really somewhere people will park unless going to the Beefeater.
Ambience and medium are good. It seemed that they need more staff because there was a queue of people waiting to be seated while the restaurant was not busy Food was great, however I did ask for a burger without bacon but I got it with bacon hence 3 stars. Skinny fries were super delicious and not oily nor greasy.
We had a wonderful festive roast dinner here on saturday 3rd December. The potatoes and parsnips were the best i have tasted for years. A good sized meal and perfectly cooked. Service was brilliant too. Well done to all the staff. Parking: Was a bit confusing driving in from the roundabout ,but plenty of parking once there.
Booked a table as we are away on holiday and didn't know how busy the place was going to be. Waited over 15 minutes to be seated. There was only 4 members of staff on, I would say average but all of them looked like they wanted to go home. We were taken to our table and asked for our drink order. We ordered our food with a separate member of staff. Our starters beat our drinks but the restaurant wasn't even half full. Our mains came out, very tasteless, with my partner leaving half the gammon because it was so chewy. We didn't bother with desserts. Also we're given the cheaper menu of 2 courses for £14 something, I ordered off this menu but were given the bill at full price and when I asked the lady said it was because we shared the starter 3 pieces of burnt tiny pieces of garlic bread. Wouldn't recommend.
Always good for the cost. Service and consistency you would expect from a Beefeater restaurant. Staff are usually always polite and welcoming. We use this restaurant regularly if we don't have the inclination to cook. Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu
