This restaurant has been a bit hit and miss the past couple of months. We’ve been with friends on a quieter evening and the food was lovely although the wait was a little long. Then last week we went with family on a busy Sunday (table was booked) and the food came slowly and most was slightly over cooked. The bottom of chicken was more brown and the potato skins were very crispy. The staff however are always very friendly and so helpful. They are kind to the children even when they are busy they listen carefully to what the children would like. I would recommend going when they are quiet

Oh dear this was one of the worst meals ever.  Such a shame normally good but tonight diabolical.  First off potato skins no potato inside deep fried so you broke your teeth on them.  We complained got another lot and still inedible.  Whoever was responsible for cooking these needs to go back to chef school.  Breaking teeth on potato skins is difficult but not generally regarded as a normal way to cook. Then the steak.  Gristle and my daughters steak tonight had a very close relationship.  Half overcooked meat and the rest fatty gristle not edible.  Complained and a new steak was ordered.  Asked again for medium to well done.  When the steak arrived cut into a raw bloody steak.  Blood oozing out and i detected the faint cry of a cow still mooing.  Complained again waitress said that is how they served medium well done steaks so the chef had said.  At no restaurant have we ever been served a steak that rare and told it was well done. The food really was not worth the £64 i paid.   Felt very uncomfortable paying but made to feel i had no choice.  Bad bad meal.  Really think that maybe time to look for somewhere else to have family/friends gatherings.  If this is the new menu then sales will defo be going down.

Food very God and the surroundings were clean and comfortable. Special mention to our waitress Leah who was superb at her job, bright, friendly efficient and alternative. She made our visit so much more than anticipated and was outstanding in all she did. If all Harvester staff were even half as proficient then they would be right up there with the top chains.WELL DONE LEAH

Excellent value for money. Good variety of choice. We like having the salad bar available with each main course. We love having refillable fizzy soft drinks from the machine. 
Staff are always cheerful and polite.

Had a lovely breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Nice atmosphere, friendly service and great food all in a timely manner. Plenty of parking. Would have been five stars but I ordered mushrooms and got beans. But to be fair I didn't realise until I'd left, as I was busy talking to my colleagues, so they didn't get the opportunity to correct the mistake. I would gladly return and recommend.
