Just been in for a meal here and it was absolutely fantastic! We chose from the curry menu for 2 the railway curry, the peppered chicken curry and the chickpea and spinach saag. Fantastic flavours and ample with all the extras included for £32 excellent value! Definitely reccomend!.

Had been for cocktails before which were lovely but yesterday tried the food which was really delicious and very well priced, 100% would visit again, great service and fantastic food. Pizza was full of flavour and the black Forrest cheesecake was delicious - nachos were also top tier!!!

We stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance and were delighted to discover a simple pub that serves an exceptional Sunday roast. The lamb and pork were both cooked to perfection and accompanied by all the traditional trimmings, including delicious Yorkshire puddings. To top it off, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary serving of apple crumble with custard, which was a delightful finishing touch to an already excellent meal. Overall, we highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch Sunday roast experience.

Great pub very friendly good selection of drinks and food at good prices worth a stop.

Great Mother’s Day treat for my wife and daughter  on Sunday the roasts were amazing and staff were all friendly. Even the chef asked us what we thought of the meal which was a nice touch and I could see how passionate he was about his food. We will be back thank you.

Went last Saturday, 19th November. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, food and drink were excellent, curry to die for and great value. Thank you, definitely coming back soon.

Lovely food, my burger was super tasty! Really lovely pub, super landlord very nice and helpful.  Will absolutely go back here again.

Perfect quiet local spot with good prices and staff. Also loved the quiz night and customer service callers on all the tables. Great idea! You also get a whole can of proper coke for a mixer, none of this post-mix nonsense. We’ll be back again

Wow what more can I say, warm welcome, fantastic food, when we visit the Isle of Wight we always come here at least twice in our weekend away. Last time I enjoyed Sea Food Player, oh my, what an experience that was, so good. I would highly recommend this beautiful country pub to anyone wanting a pleasant evening out. Inside and outside sitting areas are good and comfortable. Dogs are allowed and fussed over. Thank you for having such a wonderful place for us visitors to enjoy :
