There's nothing better than a charming pub on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly and lovely staff, beautiful food made in the kitchen not from a frozen pack at very good prices. Locals are very friendly and an ideal location after going to the beach for a swim or after a long walk. A beautiful pub that deserves a visit!
You’ve truly stepped back in time when you enter the wooden doors. One of the oldest pubs in Llantwit with an amazing atmosphere. Fish and Chips were great. There is an outdoor area to eat, but I preferred the historic inside. The local people were so friendly and a pleasure to talk to.
Had a meal here last with family and the dog. Excellent food especially the chicken wings. Brilliant service from bar and waiting staff. Will be using next time I'm in Barry Island.
came across this place when we were around the hood and decided try it. hospitality was absolutely great and food was amazing! i’d say the half roasted chicken was one of the best food we had there forgot to take the pic. we also ordered the fish i think it was cod very fresh, pie chicken and peppercorn, and panna cotta. everything was so delicious with good price highly recommend!
A real shame - the previous two meals were very good.nI had fish and chips for a change and the best part of the meal was the mushy peas and tartare sauce.nnI usually visit once a week, not going to happen again.
