Accommodation Review: We booked 2 nights for a little honeymoon. We stayed in room 28 which is one of their Superior Coastal rooms. The room was stunning, clean and stylist. The view was incredible and we spent a few hours just sat on the table and chairs in the room chatting and admiring the view. We had food in the pub each night and breakfast as included in the room. The food was fantastic, as was the attentive and friendly staff. I saw on a few occasions where they had to deal with difficult/rude customers, but they would always greet you with a smile straight after. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful coastal stay. We will 100% be coming back.
Booked a 3 night birthday treat for my fella weekend before Christmas at this place and wanna give it a huge recommendation It's literally opposite one of the best surfing beaches in Cornwall, Sennen Cove near Land's End, yeah he's weird... even enjoys surfing at this time of year but he could walk off beach in wetsuit straight into a hot shower!!! They've built a new block of rooms and the ground floor rooms are dog friendly as is the whole pub and the staff all love dogs When we arrived late on the Friday night, we were greeted with a birthday banner, balloons and card for him only mentioned in passing when booking it was for his birthday!!. There was also a bed, towel, bowl, treats and toys for my dog As his birthday was on the Saturday, he had a candle in his breakfast Returned to room on the Sunday morning after breakfast and the cleaner had lined-up a row of treats for my dog on the table The staff were all so friendly and the room was absolutely perfect... it was an absolutely mega few days away
Stayed and ate here during a coast walk. Lovely room, friendly staff and great food. Good vegan options. I had vegan 'fish' and chips, was lovely. Breakfast equally lovely. Looks like they've recently refurbished and it's a really nice job, the outdoor area was equally well done. The room was very reasonably priced for how nicely it was appointed, lots of attention to detail. Would definitely recommend.
Great experience with excellent service at the Old Success Inn restaurant. The assistant manager was brilliant and very welcoming. We did not having a booking, forgetting it was a Saturday. They found us a table and had a high chair for my little daughter. Even though they didn't have a lot of vegan options for my husband, the food he had he enjoyed vegan fish&chips was not available unfortunately. Sea food platter partnered with a bottle of white wine was very delicious and fresh, very happy! Would definitely go again.
Fantastic Pub full of character & history, the St Austell Brewery Ales are excellent, pulled up on a hand pump just as they should be ! This Pub obviously has a great Chef because we ate there 4 times during our recent week in Sennen Cove and each meal was superb. Nice young landlady in charge with a polite & friendly team of barstaff.
Sunny October days and a day off mean that a trip to the idyllic Sennen is a great idea! After sitting in the sun for a while and enjoying the beach, the perfect place for a swift pint or some food, has to be the old success at sennen! Inside, the pub is very traditional, a typical cornish gem! The service is always good, the bar staff are always kind and willing to help out. There is a lot of inside seating upstairs and downstairs and a lovely beer garden outside overlooking the sea. A perfect retreat for a nice relaxing time. So to sum up the old success....a great local pub! Good staff and lovely views! Definately worth a visit if you are heading to Sennen for a day out!
Lovely pub, loads of character, right on the beach, very dog friendly, good prices and a really interesting menu with fantastic food. The staff are lovely. We tried both pubs in Sennen and this is definitely the best option. We will come back if we are in the area.
We stayed in a room with a sea view. It was excellent. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. Will definitely be staying again.
Had a lovely meal here, the food was amazing! I would recommend booking as it gets very busy and if you can sit in the bar area as it has a great atmosphere.
Stayed on a coast view room on 1st floor. Over the bar on a winter Sunday night but not noisy. Warm room, bathroom a bit cold. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Cheerful staff.
