Four of us booked at short notice for evening meal and were not disappointed. Friendly welcome and great service.  Food was spot on and good portions. Great choice of desserts. Dog friendly and vegan options. Happy to cater for lactose intolerance. And the Guinness was the best I’ve had outside of Ireland.

An absolutely outstanding pub. Not only were we able to park our campervan for an overnight stay but we also enjoyed one of the best meals I have had in a while. The gammon was so moist and tasty and the steak pie my wife ordered was crammed full of meat. This came with a generous veg and mash. The meal came with a generous amount of smiles and attention from the staff. So close to the A74M and such a shame not to visit if you are passing by. Top marks and will visit again on our next Scotland holiday.

Fabulous little pub with a great menu. We stayed locally for a night & went along for dinner. The staff are fabulous, so friendly & accommodating, the food was really good too. We'd absolutely stop in again when passing. Thanks all!

Stopped in during 2 incredibly wet days on the southern Upland way. Landlord properly took care of us, let us charge our phones, fill up water and just chill out in the warm. Also got a sandwich salad crisps soup bread and cup of tea for £20. Very tasty.
