Hosts Avril and Terry were lovely but the property is very tired and really dated. You would think your in a residential nursing home. Bed not very comfortable... Had a sore back next day... We both did. Breakfast was fantastic couldn't fault it. If your wanting a luxury stay this isnt for you. Very basic B&B but I have to say the hosts couldn't do more. Just my opinion.

Rooms were large, clean and very comfortable and it is very near Castle Espie and well situated for exploring Strangford Lough. The Ulster fry for breakfast was excellent.Rooms: 5/5
It is a beautiful quite and peaceful place approximately 3 miles from Comber. Hosts are so welcoming and so friendly. It is much easier with own transport. Taxis are available but require booking to about an hour in advance. I recommend The Old Schoolhouse Inn.
Lovely location not too far from Belfast set in very peaceful surroundings. Beautiful room, very well decorated. Terri served a delicious breakfast. Dinner in the nearby Poachers pocket is a must plus a visit to the monastic site a short drive away.on Strangford Lough.

One of the best burgers I've ever had! The dishes my friends had were also beautifully presented and they all said their food was exceptional, as well. I highly recommend this place. Edit 2 years later: Having thought about it more, it was THE best burger I've ever had. I've found that I discuss it with people at random every now and then. As I started adding this edit, I noticed that Google says they're permanently closed now. I was looking forward to getting another one of those burgers during my next visit to N. Ireland. So sad...
