I can't think of any other B&B I would recommend without reservation. Two guest rooms, both with en-suite facilities, open onto a lovely communal dining/sitting room with a wood burning stove, comfy leather sofa, and beautiful valley views in all directions. Excellent evening meal and breakfast cooked by Vickie, who gave us a lovely friendly welcome, as did all the family as we met them. Mugs of tea by the stove on our arrival - wonderful! Wooden floors and no pets in the guest "wing", so ideal for allergy-sufferers. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard. How soon can we make an excuse to visit again?!

The Old School is absolutely wonderful and you can be sure of a fabulous welcome. Having stayed at many hotels this beautiful B&B in Welsh countryside is in my top 5 places to stay and come back to again and again. The en-suite rooms are really luxurious and well appointed and the food is really lovely. It's conveniently located so you can enjoy a host of great things to see and do but the best thing for me was coming back and chilling out in the Morning Room or on the terrace. After a stressful week at work, a weekend at The Old School had me both relaxed and re-energised. The kids loved it too. I'm coming back for a weekend with friends in the autumn and can't wait.
