My first visit to 'The Old Sail Loft' and it definitely will not be my last. The food was absolutely stunning!!!! I mean STUNNING!!!!! Some of the best I've had.nnThe staff were lovely. I've recently suffered with some very poor health and have mobility problems, so they relocated our table for us so I didn't have to climb the stairs. They were thoughtful and courteous. The service was great!nnIt was so amazing I'll be returning with my husband as I want him to try your amazing food. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening x
I am sure this is a one off but the New Year Menu was over priced, such smallnportions we left hungry and unhappy despite them reducing the bill that wasn’t related to the food but another frustration we had with them in the night. I think 8 chips and half a hot dog for the main course really out the nailnin the coffin.nSuch a shame as it was supposed to be a treat for our stay in Looe for New Year celebrations.
Excellent festive meal. Much improved since our last visit years ago. Well presented food and good service means we will return.
We had an incredible 3 course lunch here; the food was delightful. I had the set lunch menu and it was all delicious, the highlight was definitely the deep fried apple and rhubarb crumble for dessert. The staff were attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Location was perfect too, we sat outside overlooking the harbour and it was just a fantastic first experience of Looe. We'll definitely return.
Lovely dog friendly restaurant right on the edge of Looe harbour.nnThe food is outstanding and the service is brilliantly friendly.nnThe charcuterie platter starter is almost a meal in itself so make sure you go when you’re really hungry!nnMain courses were Sea Bass with Cornish crab and saffron new potatoes / Fish Du Jour which was Hake with parsley sauce, charred tender stem broccoli and potatoes Anna.nnWish it wasn’t a 600 mile round trip to visit it.
