The Old Rectory of St James Guest House

After many years of b&b stays this place takes our number one spot. It should be the model standard for all b&bs. Owners Rosemary and Adrian are perfect hosts; friendly but not intrusive. The location is peaceful but very convenient for touring a wide area. The wonderful home cooked treats are absolutely first rate and the garden is delightful. Rooms are spotless, elegant and comfy. We would quite like to keep it a secret but that would be very selfish.

Beautiful gardens, excellent hosts and breakfast. Rooms very comfortable and large size (we were in the Besselow) - all close to the Ironbridge area attractions!

We stayed for one night but next time will be for longer. Adrian & Rosemary are fantastic hosts. The rooms are exceptionally well presented. Breakfast was delicious with home made produce and eggs from the garden. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Perfect B&B. Lovely hosts who make you incredibly welcome, beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast.
