Lovely cafe with good quality food! We had livers which were fresh and cooked well. Not overdone like in so many cafes. Toilets are small but clean. Lots of parking space. They have lots of beautiful photos which could be rearranged better for a such a busy place.

Loads of seating inside and out. Friendly and helpful staff. Toilets a pleasure to use. Good range of snacks and meals. Decaffeinated coffee was a bit insipid although it was said to be fresh coffee not instant. Would, however, stop off here again. No problem with walking or cycling shoes.

Great service even when fully seated. We ordered lambs livers. Very good local quality meat, freshly cooked to perfection. Delicious gravy and mash all from scratch. We pick old police station because of build previous use but we can't find any picture, decoration, feature or documentation referring to old police station. Also don't like interior finish hard vernier hardboard Inside caf and upvc restroom finish. Based on cost of food I am expecting bit more traditional rather 1970 style.

Lovely cafe and chip shop. Unusual layout of cafe, chippy and mini gift shop selling local works of art and produce, which works well in perfect harmony together. Comprehensive menu offering everything from fish & chips to homemade food to cream teas. Friendly and helpful staff complete a most satisfying visit here and will definitely return again. Recommended !

Lovely and historic building in a beautiful area, such friendly staff! Couldn't recommend this place enough! Had a lovely coffee and homemade flapjack that was absolutely to die for! Loved the layout of the place as sold local art and jams and marmalades.
