It was far from easy finding a place and the staff I could trust to care for my lovely husband. Having cared for him myself for many years, I was convinced that I would not find such a place. Wrong. The staff here are very special. They took the time to get to know my husband who had suffered a brain injury and then onward pathway to dementia. His likes and dislikes - his ways - this mean such a lot. They were like a second family and not only to my husband but to myself as well. When I had bad days and very bad days - hugs and comforting words were in abundance. I cannot recommend highly enough the skills and dedication of all the staff. From the Manager, Elyss, the Nurses, the wonderful carers a BIG thankyou for looking after 'my special man'. Thanks also to all the kitchen staff who created the lovely meals and also to Jane who took care of the laundry. Also, thankyou to the Night team who I didn't always get to meet. They should all be commended for their dedication and loving care. They are a credit to Roseville Care. THANKYOU
My Father is currently a resident at The Old Parsonage and we feel blessed that he is in their care. The Staff are so caring, thoughtful and professional. Everyone from management, the carers, the chef and the laundry/cleaners are warm and caring. We couldn’t wish for better for my beloved Dad.
The care and dedication from the staff at this home is second to none. In this incredibly challenging environment the staff remain professional, hard working but adopt a very personal and family type atmosphere. The home is clean and importantly smells clean and the residents go wanting for nothing. Well done to the whole team and for making my dads Roger remaining time on this planet the best it could be given the cruel effects of dementia.
As a carer in Wales.... My aunt is a resident in the home and seems very well cared for both physically and emotionally and also. Mentally I am happy with the scenario I have seen. Especially during covid-19 nothing is as we would like. Thank you and keep up the good work not only for my Aunt but all service users resedents etc..... Thanks again for caring for my auntie
