I’m reviewing Cluck, one of the Tuck Trucks outside the Oak which is also a great pub. Whilst it’s unfortunately shut, Cluck who do fried chicken were there tonight and they completely smashed it. We had bbq and buffalo wings and the same flavours as fillet boxes with fries. Really tender and lovely flavours. Check them out if you fancy something new. Look fwd to the pub being open again soon also.
A lovely locals Pub - reasonably priced beer. Sometimes live music & BBQ's in the Summer. The Old Oak have a Bar Billiard Table. Friendly Landlord - Dougie who keeps his beer very well. The Bar Staff are ready with a smile and remember your rounds. Not to forget the Beer Garden and a brilliant range of bar snacks.
A nice cosy boozer. There's a spacious garden out the back and a nice interior with interesting pictures of the local area to look at. When I visited there was Doombar and London Pride on tap. Be nice if there was a bit more choice but the ale I had was very well served. Now we're getting back to normal I look forward to visiting again. :-
Friendly staff, big garden, cold beer what's not to like? It's a locals pub so be respectful. Looking forward to visiting it when we can sit inside with this beautiful Weather.
I know mens toilets never smell pleasant in pubs, but wow, these really stink. Otherwise a perfectly nice pub.
Not been to this pub for over 20 years and it has changed hugely for the better. Met some mates to watch the football, nice atmosphere, good beers and the pizza man outside was a good touch. Will return shortly
Hadn't been here for years but happened to visit twice recently. Very friendly staff, excellent selection of drinks, lovely garden and interior. Great to see a local pub thriving and hope to visit more often to support it.
This pub was recently taken over by new ownership and has had a thorough refurb. It's now looking great, features live music and has a great selection of drinks. Food is being introduced - which is exciting. Overall, a great, local pub!
A decent pub in the heart of a local community providing entertainment and good value.
Great local pub. So many of these pubs have disappeared so we're very lucky to still have it on our doorstep. Not tried the food yet but good selection of beer/ wine and staff seem friendly.
