Planning on eating here? Book a table in advance!! Glad we attempted this gorgeous pub despite reading a couple of other reviews saying that even though the pub seemed empty they could not get in for food as they hadn't booked a table. Luckily it just being the 2 of us we were given the opportunity to sit at a table in a corner and advised that food just may be a little longer due to the kitchen being busy already. Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry because it was WELL worth the wait. The food was perfecty cooked and the flavours were amazing! And what better than a good selection of drinks for everyone to go with it. Thank you to the kitchen and staff at The Old Mill!
Good steaks, porterhouse and a t-bone in the pic. The meat was good quality and we had a nice bottle of red. Staff were friendly. I’d prefer a few more interesting beers and drink selections than the chain offering but can’t knock the classic steak and red wine combo! Not the cheapest but still good value compared to your higher end gastronomy or dedicated steakhouse. I think there was at least 6 different steaks to choose from but they didn’t have them all in stock so maybe worth an ask if you call to book. Nice treat for a father and son night out we were both happy

Amazing restaurant and bar to eat and chill, upon driving to Ashford came across the Old Mill and upon with interest and parking up via their parking facilities. Was lovely welcomed in by the staff to be sat down and had the most amazing chicken buffalo meal burger to date Will definitely be back and enjoyed the friendly staff and environment at the Old Mill 5

Lovely decor. Friendly staff. Nice location and good menu. Good portions. All food should be bought to the table at the same time is only improvement that could be made in my opinion, just had to wait a couple of minutes for other peoples plates to arrive before beginning eating. Please do the lunch menu on sundays because the duck burrito sounds amazing

Had a party of six eating out here, we all had a different meal and everyone was more than happy, the staff were very professional we will eat here again, again and again we eat here and nothing changes the food is always cooked to perfection, the staff are always welcoming, there's always a good atmosphere, the steaks are to die for , the truth is the whole menu is to die for, I truly highly recommend eating here 100% been back several times after I wrote the 1st review it's been refurbished its bright and got a very fresh feel about it, the menu has changed a bit with specials changed daily my wife and I love it I stand by my 1st review, I repeat I highly recommend eating here 1st class
Great food, at reasonable prices, in a very pleasant setting. My wife is in a wheelchair - which we noted on our online reservation form. When we arrived the table had books under the legs to raise it to the right hight for wheelchair use Excellent service. Thoroughly recommended Visited with family this evening. Table set to wheelchair Hight again. Food, service and ambiance excellent once again.
