Great hotel. You have a full kitchen and the beds and pillows are super comfortable. In the maple house building you have a balcony. Our room also had a washer and dryer and they give you laundry detergent and dryer sheets if you need to do laundry. They have free cookies in the lobby. Also loved the location walkable to restaurants and its right in front of a bike/run path on the river. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed 4 amazing nights at the Old House Hotel in Courtenay. We were there celebrating our anniversary, and we brought our two small dogs with us.  The hotel was really lovely and welcoming to us and our dogs. The room was very well outfitted with a kitchenette with everything we needed, a very comfy bed, a giant bathroom, a patio overlooking the beautiful hot tub and more.  Our dogs were very welcomed to the hotel with a goodie bag with treats, a special towel for them to use while staying at the hotel, and a list of dog friendly parks.  We loved the refreshment station in the front lobby with water with fresh fruit, a water bottle refilling station, an amazing coffee and tea bar, and fresh cookies each afternoon.  The pool and hot tub were amazing. We used them every day. We also loved the location overall. It was a great spot with beautiful walking trails all around, plus it was easy to go from here on our adventures.  I also had a spa treatment at their onsite spa Ohspa, which was excellent. It was a very relaxing and peaceful space, and a lovely treatment.  Our only issues were resolved quickly with the staff. Our room had a Nespresso machine, which was lovely, but we wanted a coffee maker, which they brought to our room. We also had an issue the first night with the sun shining into the room early in the morning, but they loaned us some clips to make the room darker.  We loved staying here and we would definitely recommend staying here. We would love to stay here again.  Rooms: The room was well equipped with a small kitchenette, that had all we needed for 4-nights. The bed was super comfy. We liked having a small patio that gave us a wonderful view of the pool.  Walkability: There were lovely walking trails all around the property, plus a walk by the river channel. Plus it was a short walk to downtown.  Noteworthy details: The pool and hot tub space were excellent. We loved the refreshment centre in the lobby. The hotel not only allowed dogs but actually welcomed them.

I like the Old House! I have stayed there for work multiple times. It’s pretty reasonably priced especially in the off season. The pool and hot tub are great. Love being right on the riverside trail and close to everything. Looking forward to my next work trip!Rooms: 5/5

Have stayed many times. Rooms are clean, pool is amazing and available year round. The location is central to most things. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Honestly, I can't come up with even 1 negative comment!

This hotel is beautiful! It has every amenity and the service is amazing. The hotel has gardens and a beautiful walk path along the ocean. We got to see a seal jump and catch a fish. There is a cute restaurant called the Locals for the hotel. We didn't eat there though. The pool was so nice, the water was room temperature. It was not cold but not warm either. The hot tub was nice too.  It was a beautiful experience!

First time staying here with work, absolutely blown away with the quality and immaculate cleanliness of these rooms. The front desk was peaceful and efficient, and the room is equipped with literally anything you could ever need. The layout is well thought and spacious especially if you're here for a longer stay. Excited to eventually try the spa on a return trip too.

Love staying here. The staff are always friendly, the rooms have everything you need. There are restaurants within walking distance. The pool and hot tub are a treat. Even though it is a higher price point then other accommodations around, it is well worth the extra money. It's our first choice to stay if we are in the areaRooms: 5/5

Absolutely brilliant hotel. As you can see from the pictures, the rooms are very spacious. Have all the amenities. The front desk staff are very nice. There is complementary coffee and cookies. The outdoor pool is very nice as well. There is a spa attached to the hotel if you are looking for a massage but it is recommended to book an appointment in advance as they are very busy.  The only thing missing, which I would recommend the hotel to do would be to get smart TVs installed in the rooms.  So people can stream Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, etc... Straight to their TV screens which other big hotel chains like Marriott are doing . Highly recommended this hotel to anyone visiting Comox. You cannot go wrong with this choice.
