This is a lovely spot for a coffee, bite to eat or a cream tea, I had them all! Great food and friendly service in a very cute setting. Would highly recommend.Food: 5/5

Nice cozy cafe and a great lunch. Reasonable prices with outstanding quality. Service is personal and welcoming. You can't go wrong for a coffee or lunch.
Lovely tea room. We had tea and scones, well worth it. Big, warm and tasty. Two jams from local source. Proper clotted cream. Accessibility is limited, due to age of building.
Impeccable service, good food at reasonable price and hard to fault the full English. My only quibble is with bland scrambled eggs, but would certainly reccommend. The lunches going past looked yummy..

We went into the Forge expecting great service given the reviews. However, it turned our to be very unfriendly and not accommodating. Very disappointing!! Later, we heard that they are selling up which might explain their attitude. We hope friendlier people will be taking over.
Two of the group had cream teas while the third had a full English. The scones for the cream tea weere warm and so soft, the cream really thick and the 3 different jams all delicious. The diner eating the full English commented that it was amazing and the best sausages she'd had in ages.
Excellent friendly service, prices, quality and quantity, there was nothing to fault. Very tasty, locally sourced produce at town centre cafe prices. Highly recommended, we will be eating there again. Thank you. Vegetarian options: Perfect, lovely colourful food, cooked to perfection, plentiful, and served with a smile
Good coffee & yummy scones. Friendly service too.
