We enjoyed an exceptional Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale, both prepared to a standard comparable with those found in top-quality restaurants. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour.nA special mention goes to Amalia, who provided first-class service throughout our visit. She was attentive, professional, and welcoming, always serving with a genuine smile.nThe ambience was warm and pleasant, making for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend this venue to others.
We enjoyed our breakfast and the staff were super friendly, we couldn’t understand why our flat white coffees weren’t full to the top. The cups were the perfect size for a flat white, so not even like they substituted a bigger cup and half filled it, still lovely coffee though!
We enjoy coming to to The Old Fire Station for lunch, brunch or just coffee and cake. It is always a very enjoyable experience.nLast weekend we had an evening party there so had the whole venue with buffet and drinks. It was fantastic. All our guests were very impressed with the venue itself we were also allowed to decorate it and make it festive. The staff were excellent and really made the evening flow smoothly. The buffet was lovely and Danny couldn't do enough to be helpful and keep it completely stress free.nI would highly recommend the venue if you are planning a reception of any kind. Fabulous food, charming atmosphere and welcoming/friendly staff! Menus are commendable, with a wide range of options including gluten free and vegan! Honestly the best place I have been for gluten free dining in a long time! I would highly recommend!
I've visited The Old Firestation Cafe a few times now, and it never disappoints. Housed in a beautifully converted old fire station, the building is full of character and charm, with a lovely, light, and airy feel . The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and the service is top-notch .nnThe food is the real highlight here. The full English breakfast is excellent, with quality ingredients cooked perfectly . I've also tried their amazing toasties the bacon, brie, and cranberry is a must-try, and the smashed avocado on sourdough is fantastic . The cakes are legendary, all homemade, and Danny's signature cinnamon buns are a local favourite . They also have a great selection of coffee and a fantastic gluten-free menu, which is a huge bonus .nnIt's a very popular spot, so booking is recommended, especially on weekends . The location right next to the park with outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day, and it's dog-friendly too! . Highly recommended.
