This little cottage was ideal for a weekend break for my husband and I with our two dogs. The courtyard garden is totally safe for an avid escapee like ours.nWarm, comfortable and central to amenities. Great walks from the door and around.
My wife and I booked a weekend away at Cottage 2 at The Old Dairy Holiday Cottages as a restful break at a busy time and it was perfect!nExcellent, friendly comms before we arrived. Great, high-standard cottage, exactly as described on the website, lovely welcome from Lorraine with some great touches, including welcome towels and treats for our dog, fresh milk in the fridge and the fire on to greet us.nWith ideal walks right out of the door and a peaceful location with the Forest of Dean's attractions right on the doorstep, this is an ideal getaway.nWe won't hesitate to visit again and very highly recommend the Cottages.
Two very cute cottages in the outskirts of the town. The property was clean and all amenities were provided. Lorraine even sent through an email about suggested places to eat and day trips. I would thoroughly recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
Having arrived late, first priority was a cuppa and drink for little dog Rolo, who settled straight away as he could safely be allowed to wander in and out.nCottage very comfy, excellent facilities, perfect location for walking, some great dog friendly pubs, altogether a most enjoyable stay. After such a long winter lockdown in the UK this stay at Old Dairy Farm cottage 2 was just what we needed. I chose cottage 2 specifically for the bath, the entrance opening into the hallway, and the beautiful restored wooden beams throughout the cottage. Everything was absolutely perfect and felt very clean and safe. It was located centrally in the Forest of Dean, nowhere was further than 20 mins away and we did several walks & hikes per day. It was quiet and peaceful, which my husband and I appreciated after working our minds off in the public service through the pandemic. Our mini schnauzer loved it too! Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
