The Custom House is situated on the Penarth side of the barrage with large ample parking. They have a large open display counter with the food on display and you go to the counter and choose. I had the two course set meal which was fish soup followed by fillet steak in a Stilton sauce. Service was good and staff were friendly.

The person serving split one large hot chocolate into two smaller ones for my kids. Good, quick, helpful service. Will visit again

Had a table today at 4pm. Had the fish cake starter and the hake for main course. The food was absolutely spot on. It's such a shame we couldn't have wine with our meal. Covid rules and facilities were first class throughout the restaurant.

Fabulous food ambience and staff. Set menu was great value. Huge portions. Wine delicious Our 11 year old also enjoyed the the experience .

Very busy and the speed of service is reflected by this so worth choosing your timing carefully.  This can be an expensive restaurant but the staff are very helpful and the choices are superb.

Thanks to the staff at the Custom House for making a 70th birthday lunch special, the service and food was excellent with a lovely friendly atmosphere. You can see a lot of effort has been made to make customers feel safe and comfortable in the midst of this challenging time.

What a selection of food. Afternoon meal deals are stunning and the prices are not shy high for good quality good.
