We have visited the Courthouse on many occasions, but last night 31/12/2022 was by far the best experience we have had. We booked a room and only intended on having a couple of drinks before eating. But that soon went out of the window. The staff were so friendly, helpful and all working together to make sure that our experience was 1st Class. The food was delicious and outstanding. We have eaten in many of the local restaurants and eateries, and we can definitely say that this is one of our favourite places to visit. We could go on forever with our praise towards this establishment and its staff. But if you are looking for a well run restaurant with great staff, then this is your place.
I’ve been a few times and I’m always left feeling so impressed. I really can’t fault the place, lovely atmosphere. Incredible, attentive staff and just an all rounder lovely place to go out to eat ! Most definitely become my regular place to go! Vegetarian options: They have a nice selection of both vegetarian and vegan options. Including starters, mains and desserts!! Parking: There’s a large parking area and it’s very easy to get to the Court House. Dietary restrictions: They cater for lots of different dietary requirements and it all looks incredible!!
We love this place! A warm welcome, care taken of special requests, beautiful food every visit served as hot as it ought to be and with just the right amount of waiting time. Friendly yet not over-bearing waiting staff where nothing is too much trouble. What a find The Court House is!
Have a wonderful meal there. They even gave a little something for our dog. Staff are lovely and very attentive. Food was gorgeous and plenty of it. Highly recommend it. Parking: Plenty of parking. Dietary restrictions: Will accommodation and dietary needs.

Food was lovely and well presented but they had painted the side panels and didn't put an signs up to warn you so a few of our group of 14 got paint on our clothes. We told the manager all he said was put it in dry cleaners and give a bill to him. Just unprofessional and didnt seem to care. As we don't go out for a nice meal to have our clothes ruined and was told it was painted today 25 Nov in the morning wouldn't go again as it ruined our afternoon
Booked a table of 12, excellent choice of freshly cooked meals. Service was excellent and all the meals arrived at the same time. We all enjoyed the meals and the atmosphere, would recommend, well worth a visit.
Second visit today for lunch. My wife had the Salmon and I went for the slow roasted Pork Belly. Both main dishes were absolutely delicious. We both decided to go for the Apple and Sultana Crumble and Custard for dessert ...oh dear so disappointed, too many sultanas and not enough Apple, the Crumble was very thick on top and more of a powdery substance. We both poured the whole jug of custard on top but we each left at least half our dish. We mentioned it to our waitress and she said she would pass our comments on to the kitchen. Spoiled the experience somewhat at paying £15 for 2 desserts as I do expect better when paying that price. Better luck next time and we will be going back. Overall a nice restaurant and pleasant staff.
Absolutely incredible pub and B&B, with wonderful friendly staff and food to die for. Love the hosts Richard and Colleen, they have created a really special place and we will be back! Just to remember to book weeks in advance as the secret is out, this is special!
Went for my Girlfriends 40th & was amazing. We were able to bring our dog, he got treated as good as us! The staff were so friendly & accommodating, we will definitely be returning.Food: 5/5
