Absolutely exceptional!nnMy fiancé and I wanted to make the most of our night off from parenting, having only recently moved to the area we decided to opt for The Oaks and we are so glad we did!nnWe booked last minute but got a table without trouble, we arrived and were seated promptly by the very welcoming staff.nnWe ordered a couple of delicious cocktails and browsed the comprehensive menu. I opted for the trout and duck and my partner went for the croquettes and steak pie. The food was nothing short of stunning, far better than you'd expect from a nice pub.nnThe service was also brilliant, we even received a complimentary cocktail, Alina our waitress deserves a special mention, she was so efficient and personable and made our evening feel special.nnBravo team, that's how a pub should be run! Couldn't recommend highly enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and felt it was worth every penny despite ordering 4 courses!

Absolutely fantastic meal. Decent prices and the triple cooked chips are genuinely superb and some of the best I've had. Lovely flavour and pure crunch. Delectable

We had the best dining experience with you today.nnThe food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional.nnWe visited today Easter Sunday which was obviously fully booked and very busy. However we were treated so kindly. One of our party has a couple of food allergies but the service staff were all very helpful and accommodating around this, and made extra sure that our meals were prepared with this in mind.nnDespite it being very busy we were warmly looked after by the waiters and waitresses, we weren't rushed at all and were given plenty of time to enjoy our lovely meals. Nothing seemed to much bother, and all served with a smile and great enthusiasm and care.nnA special mention must go to our waitress Alina who really looked after us and made sure we were made comfortable in one of the many Huts outside so that we could enjoy our lunch in a nice quiet area. The food was absolutely fantastic, and very fairly pricednnThank you all once again, we are very much looking forward to visiting The Oaks again soon.

Such a lovely place! Staff are super friendly. We managed to get a last minute reservation on a Sunday afternoon and it was so worth it, we ate our main meals inside and had puddings and more drinks in a beach hut that was made up for us. I can safely say the duck was probably the best I've had!! It was a first visit for myself, my partner and our dog but it won't be our last to say the least

The food was beautifully presented and tasted great. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful cheerful and welcoming. The only reason I've dropped a star on my overall rating is because, for the money, I felt that the portions on the main courses weren't very generous.
