Called in on a whim, squeezed a party of 2 adults one child in. Friendly staff even under pressure with Sunday lunches before Christmas. Our table was great for us but a bit isolated to be in eye line to grab attention. One server was fab and sorted us out. Food was lovely. Xmas Dinner, scampi and chips and kids menu all enjoyed and would recommend. No mention of WiFi but kids given a colouring in sheet. No crayons offered thou we had our own. Guinness on tap tasted well and had a good selection of soft drinks also. Straws available for the wee ones. Toilet was a spacious single room for all as in one at a time, clean, soap and other necessities available and a changing station available for infants. We were in the restaurant part so other facilities may have been available. I look forward to having a look about on our next visit Parking: Parking out the front and carpark round the side/back.
Had our daughters holy communion here today 11.05.19. Both staff and food where amazing. Staff could not do enough for you, and our daughter was given a beautiful rag-doll dressed in holy communion dress, such a beautiful thoughtful gift. Thanks again. We will definitely return.
Only give it one star as the staff were so so good and nice! Great service but the food was disgusting and inedible, the colour of that crispy shredded chicken and the taste i was so sick from the food. The standard of the food was shocking unfortunely !!:/
Always a friendly member of staff to make you feel welcome, a menu that caters for everyone, great bar staff Nev, and the young girls and boys learning their job, friendly locals with the exception of the members of grumpy mans corner always a treat for the family Kid-friendliness: Fantastic owners Colleen and Margaret and staff are all well trained mannerly and attentive Parking: Plenty of parking Wheelchair accessibility: No issues
The food was delicious, never had a better roast beef dinner anywhere else. The staff are lovely, very attentive. Would highly recommend The Oaks for goibg for dinner, you won't be disappointed. Parking: Plenty of parking
Visited 1 September, party of 6 for dinner. We love the food, service and venue. Food is really good especially the curry which is just so tasty, I love it, hence we keep returning.

Lovely family lunch, attentive and friendly staff, great selection of food on the menu. We went on a Sunday so also had the Sunday Roast menu, beef was so plentiful and tasty although I had loads of mash there were only a few vegetables carrots and swede. Vegetarian options: Separate selection plus other items marked on the menu
We were there for a family gathering and drinks. Very impressedService: 5/5
