A well established Italian restaurant, cocktail bar & lounge set on Westbourne Park Road. Popular & busy restaurant focused on great food, wine & service.

Story

Set on the cusp of Notting Hill on Westbourne Park Road, we have always been known for our delicious wood fired pizzas (many say the best in London) and they are fantastic, but it’s the quality of our menu alongside that often surprises guests and helps to keep them coming back.

Taking inspiration from Mediterranean Italy and Spain as well as Southern France it very much reflects our love of honesty and simplicity in both presentation and flavour. This along with a diverse wine list, stylish surroundings and a cracking bar on the first floor has ensured its continuing success since it opened in 2001.

The Oak is the flagship restaurant for the small restaurant group Jasper Gorst has established over the last 10 years which include The Bird in Hand of Brook Green & The Oak W12 on Goldhawk Road.

We were a group of 4 and sat inside as outside was full. Despite being empty, we were told to sit in an area were all the tables were too close to each other and we were struggling as was not comfortable. The pizzas were very tasty and I personally loved the thin crust, possibly the best I’ve ever tried! Location is good and would love to visit the place again, provided that we shall be sitting somewhere more spacious

Wonderful little spot in Westbourne Grove area. Went on a super busy night and the owner went out of her way to secure us a table despite no reservation! The food was classic Italian, very strong, tried and true flavors. The calamari and the chocolate brownie were my favorite.Food: 5/5
This place was dead and empty at 1pm on a beautiful Sunday in a busy neighborhood. The food was excellent. The location itself is lovely with an outside option. The service is comical. They all seemed half asleep. No management at all. Only three tables with 6 customers in a massive venue but all waiting staff stand with their backs to the tables. One waitress had a full on conversation with one of the chefs about her tattoos. He came out to have a look. This went on for some time whilst tables went uncleared and people waited on orders. There is no service at all. Just very surly waiting staff ignoring customers. The food is great as is the location. But this place is empty for a reason and that's the service.
Nice place to eat Italian food. Felt like a pub. A bit dark and cramped but a great place. The thin crust pizzas were delicious.Food: 5/5
This is the place for: late night wine and nibbles with your crowd. Perhaps not ideal for a date as can get quite noisy and tables are very close together. The ambience is lovely, nothing crazy in terms of food - good and simple, pizzas are good though.
Regularly go here as it's reliably very good. Excellent pizza, friendly and efficient service, nice atmosphere. Can't fault it. Keep doing what you're doing team Oak!Food: 5/5
Beautiful meal, delicious food. I could not fault it. The pizza was thin, crispy, like in Rome, the atmosphere was beautiful, the spaghetti al dente, seafood fresh. The starter delectable, great sliced prosciutto, and mozzarella di bufala. Perfect with the bread. The most delicious olives too! Excellent price, for delicious food. Staff were lovely , the chef however really brought things up. The good superseded the service. I hope he gets my thanks. Excellent work. Will definitely visit again
What an amazing, long, overdue treat! I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience here and would love to personally thank Sanchi for her kind ,warm, and genuine customer "service". I had a wonderful evening and recommend this quaint and lovely pub/ristorante. I'll be coming back soon.Food: 5/5
A little quiet, but a lovely restaurant with good Pizzas. Worth a visit if in the area, also has an upstairs bar, but this was quiet, so great if you want to go somewhere and talk.Food: 5/5
