Went to the dinosaur exhibit due to dinosaur crazy children, ended up staying for the whole museum. A fantastic look at local history with interactive exhibits, helpful context and a wide variety of exhibits for all interests. Lots to keep younger children interested while adults look at the more information intensive exhibits and the entire site is built on top of beautiful roman ruins - the entrance to the exhibits provides an elevated view of a section. Highly recommend on a visit to Chichester
We spent an hour and a half here more or less in the dinosaur hatching. Kids really enjoyed it and there was plenty to get their hands and minds into. My daughter loved the dress up stations around the museum, and really got her imagination going.
This museum has so much potential, it could be great. The second floor is where many interesting exhibits which showcase the history of Chichester are displayed. However, there are so many crammed together, they dont get the display they deserve. The top floor had the small dinosaur exhibition. The ground floor has some information about Roman Chichester and an excavation of a roman building.
A very nice museum! It had an open excavation site, and is very well kept. Great place to learn about chichester
Nice and beautiful museum. The best part is that entry is free. Good place to know the history of the Chichester and Romen era. Recommended to visit.
