Facilities are good but it’s insane to me that I paid their very high prices to book a padel court. Non of the staff told me I needed to entered my reg on an iPad to use the car park. Then got a parking ticket. Tried to appeal it showing my proof of booking. Appeal was declined. The northern refuse to have anything to do with it and washes their hands with responsibility. RidiculousnHow are you going to let a parking company exploit your customers. Never seen anything like this before. Mad And won’t return. Fuming to be honest
The Northern is a great tennis club. with lots of facilities. The bar/restaurant has been recently renovated and has a very good outside space. We do kids tennis there and the coaches are great
Great squash facilities and the perfect venue for several racket sports. The club includes some of the best facilities in the north west for playing tennis, squash, racketball, and padel. There is also a gym and racket shop onsite.n.nThe lawnroom provides a good range of food and drink options and some really call tennis nostalgia. Both pool and darts are available in the main bar + outdoor seating.n.nIf I still lived in south Manchester I'd join the Northern.
I’ve had a similar experience with the Northen as the fellow who left the 1 star comment below.nnThey claimed that I didn’t register my vehicle when I did so in person.nnThey sent me an email saying they’re sorry that I believed I registered my vehicle…Believed? No, I know I did.nnQuite silly and unprofessional.
Good tennis club. Pricing for under 25s membership is a good price compared to over 25s. I wish they provided free rackets tho which I thought was advertised on the website. The gym is good and the classes were excellent, but maybe it could do with an extension as it is a little small and I would love if all of the treadmills were updated to the newer ones! Staff are really friendly and it is a lovely environment.
