North Inch public park is a wonderful open green space in the City of Perth. It has easy access and you can do a full circular back by the river which is really nice. There are also a couple of viewing bays to look up and down the river as you go. On the day I visited it was a day of sunshine and heavy showers. I found some very good trees to shelter under. I also found the people of Perth very friendly as I had to ask for directions at one point.
Large public park just north of the CBD and along the River Tay. Combination of sporting ovals and open space, paths and parkland. Many sporting facilities within or along the parkland. Some paid parking available in the nearby sports centre.
Love it here for walks with my dogs, beautiful views and a great and easy stroll Dog-friendliness: Great open space for dogs to run Picnic area: Lots of areas for picnics
Always good to have a walk round the Inch when in Perth - when the sun is shining on the Tay no better walk !
I love the North Inch park. It has a very good, wheelchair accessible path around the whole park. There is good accessible parking too.
Great place for a walk,if you go round the north inch it is actually a mile long, great for sports too, rugby, football and golf outdoors with bells sports centre for indoor sports.
Had a nice leisurely walk round the inch this morning & was nice having folk say good morning made the world feel it's getting back to some normality.
Stunning, beautiful, clean and safe.. lots of families and sports enjoy this place
Used for all sorts of Sports and the home of Perthshire Rugby. Really lovely, well kept, circular path. Beautiful walk along the River Tay. Suitable for all. Nice children's play park beside Bells Sports Centre. Cafe, toilets etc.
Had a fab stroll up the north inch. River was quite high and some of the golf course was flooded. The ground was saturated in many places. Was a lovely day before we headed back to Dundee. Took the slower bus via Errol.
