Been here twice on our holiday. Steak was well cooked and presented. Staff very friendly & helpful, asked if they could take a photo of us and they were very obliging. Breakfast was great! Noticed a busy busy member of staff helping all the boats to moor up, working hard to ensure everyone got in without difficulties. Fantastic! Great place to sit by the river too.
Called in for lunch today. Husband had the roast turkey and I had the mushroom Wellington. Lovely food, vegetables all cooked beautifully and not overcooked. Served promptly by very nice people. My Wellington was truly delicious. We come back here because the newish management has made so many improvements to the decor and menu. I'm told the range of ales is very good too. Sadly driving so couldn't try any. Best of all the food was piping hot. Should be a given I know, but often served lukewarm on a cold plate. Not here though. Definitely recommend. Dog friendly throughout too.
The service here is absolutely top class and The New Inn is a real pleasure to visit! I would recommend this place to anyone 100%! When we visited the other week we was warmly welcomed by all the staff including Sean, Steve and all the other staff. The main person we would like to thank though is Alex.. He is an absolute top class bar man and his service is second to none.. It was around mid day or early afternoon and we fancied chips and a cocktail knowing not all pubs could provide one or know how to serve one.. Well that's where we was delighted to meet Alex.. He served us some of the best cheesy chips we have ever had and whipped us up definitely the best Espresso Martini's we had ever had.. Seriously.. Wow. The pub is a beautiful place with a great atmosphere and it's a nice place to pull up at on the boat or if you are passing that way in the car. I would give this place and the staff 11 out of 10.. Thank you to all the staff at The New Inn. Kindest regards and looking forward to the next visit.. :
My wife and I visited while on holiday in Horning, we had Sunday lunch with friends, a pint later in the week and a meal from the after 16.00 menu on our last day. The whole atmosphere is so very friendly, the staff are excellent people who go the extra mile to ensure that you are well looked after. I have a dietary problem and nothing was too much trouble I was well fed and not once made to feel I was being a pain. We visit the area for a week three times a year and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much all of you. Andy and Angela Food & drinks: As I said before the food is five star and very good value we can’t fault it. Well done chef.
Went along to the New Inn for a meal with the family and have to say the food and service was absolutely spot on. I had the best cooked steak I have had in a long while. The rib eye was tender and i asked for medium rare and it was exactly right which is often not the case with pub food. All the food was superb. Would definitely recommend .
We visited the New Inn nearly every day whilst staying in Horning. The food was great and service was excellent. Our server Max, was extremely polite and helpful. The locals were very friendly too. The prices were very reasonable compared to the other pubs in the village. We paid £5.00 cheaper for the same two drinks here, than the Swan or the Ferry Inn. So nice not to be ripped off! We definitely recommend the food and drinks and will be back later this year.
We came here with the family last week, along with two dogsone a rescue, and the Team couldn’t have been more accommodating. The food was fantastic really good quality, wide range of beers/wines/gins to choose from. We managed to catch the end of the sunset too after our meal which made it even more special. There is limited parking outside the pub, but there is free parking at the local village hall.
Where do I start… this site left me speechless everything was spotless and worth every my penny spend! Staff and service was friendly and helpful! Food amazing and beautiful little bit pricey ££ place it self calm and with outstanding view in Norfolk broads …excellent time spend will be back again for sure and will take my friends with me!
Very nice little pub with a heated outside area, menu had quite a few options and was reasonably priced. Also everyone enjoyed what they had! Fishcakes were really tasty as was the burger
Lovely evening meal here and overnight mooring. Food was really tasty and good value. Staff were especially nice and service was excellent. Well worth a visit.
