The accommodations were delightful, with modern and clean rooms, comfortable beds, and spacious showers. There was ample parking available, and the view from the balcony was quite enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast of porridge and pastries was a thoughtful touch.
Rooms were absolutely suitable for our requirements to stay in the area for a friend's party. Rooms very clean and bed comfortable. But what I find very strange is no body told us there was no longer a bar or dining available??? There seems to be some kind of hostel in the old bar area. Any such photo etc should be taken down and make it clear these facilities are no longer available
We booked a two night stay for a friend's wedding party, but she broke her leg and everything was cancelled. The New Hobbit gave us a full refund - no fuss - thank you very much. When the party is rearranged, we'll definitely book here.
Excellent find. Quiet location. Fantastic valley views.Rooms well appointed with everything you would need for an overnight stay. Including a fridge with bottled water and unexpected, small continental breakfast.Would definitely recommend. Small points to at for owners. Room was very hot, despite radiator being off. We were not comfortable leaving whole patio door open overnight. No fan in room. Bathroom extractor fan was not working, despite bathroom being well appointed & spotlessly clean. Good quality towels. A tastefully appointed room, great value for money. Thanks.
Place has no pub openthey did let me know after booking!, is down the end of a dirt road, not very clean, stairs up to room very dirty and grubby, shower had mould in the grout, carpet needed hoovering,key box wouldn't open for ages as really stiff. It is literally in middle of nowhere. We ended up with a meal deal for our dinner!
