beautiful Victorian garden cemetery. Amazing view. There is a Jewish part of cemetery as well. I would recommend to do some research before visiting it as it has strong history behind.
Well worth the short uphill climb to stroll through the gorgeous mausoleums and degrading grand headstones. Stunning views from above St. Mungo's Cathedral and over the city in general. The only issue we had was too many awesome pictures!
Free entrance! Worth to visit - I recommend to visit on sunny day an hour before sunset. Magical views!
The Glasgow Necropolis is an extremely interesting cemetery providing you with wonderful views of the city. It is a beautiful while steep walk but very enjoyable. If you have traveled to see the Cathedral this completes the trip as it also provides you a brilliant view of the church.
If you visit Glagow Cathedral, then you have to enter the Necropolis as well. Not only for the historic relevance, but also for the beautiful view you will have on Glasgow, when you at the highest point.
