Story

Tucked away in a quiet back street in the heart of Leicester, The Musician is the Midlands' premier independent music venue. With live music at least six nights a week, it holds 220 people and features comfortable seating, full disabled access, easy parking and a selection of real ales.

Since opening in 2000, The Musician's reputation has been built on presenting the very best home grown and international performers in a relaxed and friendly environment. With a supremely eclectic booking policy the venue regularly features everything from contemporary singer-songwriters to rock, blues, folk, ska, punk, world, bluegrass, reggae, metal, soul, indie, avant-garde and Americana.

If you like live music, visit this place as often as possible. Keep it going, keep music live. Good bar. Reasonable prices.
Brilliant Staff Great Venue for seeing band's
Perfect venue! Easy to find and lot's of parking space. You can get road parking for free too. Sound quality of the gigs are good! I like going out here for good music and drinks.
A great music venue for established bands and up-and-coming acts. Interesting building and decent beer. I loved all the posters on the walls.
Great venue, good sound system, amazing acts and friendly staff
One of our favourite music venues. Sounds is always good and some excellent bands too
Place is great. Plenty of road parking around that's free after 6pm. Acts are always varied and good, venue is really nice, drinks are well priced, staff are friendly and sound quality of the gigs are really on point. Fantastic local music spot which we should be conscious to support.
It's a good venue with an intimate feel and good acoustics. They have a wide variety of acts. As a pub, it's really not great. Seating is very limited and they only take cash.
